Indoors online activities during the COVID-19

Last year, 2020 and this year, 2021, introduced a new coronavirus infection, COVID-19, which united even the world's ever-competing political forces against a common enemy. We have implemented all sorts of restrictions that have forced us to spend more time at home, avoiding large crowds.

All of this has inevitably led to more time spent in the virtual world. Online pastimes have come up with a variety, I want to share my top 3 favorites:

1. Watching online movies. Here of course we should mention Apple TV+, Netflix, although there are too many competitors to list them all. Particular interest is enjoyed by such series as Game of Thrones and Vikings. It's no surprise that it was the TV series that was watched, watching one full-length movie is no longer enough. I think for online cinemas this has become a very profitable period.

2. Online concert attendance. The media industry quickly adapted to the new conditions and spawned a large number of online platforms that allow the world's biggest stars to come into live contact with their viewers. We would like to recall the performance of the popular South Korean band BTS on the WeVerse platform in 2020. It became a cult online performance with a record number of "spectators", and they were about 756 thousand people. Some limited themselves to hosting streamers.

3. Gaming industry. Here we should start with computer games, both on PS and all kinds of consoles. There is an abundance of them: Guardians of the Galaxy, Diablo II, Resident Evil Village - it is simply impossible to list them all. It's a whole world. But progress is not standing still, and in the battle went virtual reality glasses, ripping the player from the real world. Here are just a small part of masterpieces: Star Wars: Squadrons, Half-Life: Alyx and Microsoft Flight Simulator. Speaking of the game simulators, we want to separately identify gaming virtual shooting ranges, in which laser shooting is conducted with the help of a mass-sized models of weapons on virtual targets. Developers are announcing more and more new game software that allows you to feel like a hero of the virtual world, the main thing is not to get lost in reality.

These types of entertainment continues to capture more and more audiences, and various modes of restriction give them this opportunity. All we have to do is to exercise moderation and not turn into the heroes of Steven Spielberg's blockbuster "Ready Player One".
